Fall Tablescape

I love to decorate a table! The centerpiece, the textures and the little details – I love it all! I put together a Fall tablescape for you all. You could use some of these ideas for a cozy Fall dinner or Thanksgiving dinner. Tables are so fun especially when you can use cozy festive elements!

I was inspired to use mixed metals and deep jewel tones for this table. Tarnished fall fancy is what I was going for! Something that would be appropriate for Thanksgiving dinner yet you could totally see Harry Potter sitting at it!

The runners! I love to start with a runner! For this table I dyed some cheeseclotfabric with wine colored Rit fabric dye. I also used other vintage linens for color contrast – creamy crochet tablecloth and velvet mustard fabric pieces. This softened the table and added color!

Don’t you just love old metals! I used old round tarnished metal plates as chargers. Each one was different. I also used tarnished metal trays for the bites too! The cute plates came from a thrift store. So did the little saucer plates that the candy apples are resting on!

Keep it simple – I just plopped a colorful pumpkin resting on the runners in the center on the table.

Tapered candles don’t always have to be white. I had fun playing with colored candles for this table. I used black and caramel. I love the richness the candles brought!

I hope you find inspiration from this Fall tablescape. I hope you use these ideas for a festive October dinner or Thanksgiving Day! Thanks for swinging by karleegailbowman.com today!
